Hi all, Jen here with some exciting news to share...we are opening our first brick and mortar location at 5990 Entrada Avenue in Atascadero, California! We are beyond excited to have found a location in downtown Atascadero. Not only because it is the cutest little town ever (just take a look at the Sunken Gardens!) but also because it is where Katie calls home. I have been making the almost 5 hour drive down from Roseville in Northern California to help get the store ready. Katie and her husband, Marcus, have been putting in sooo much work to get the store open. It is going to be stunning!! We have new paint, new floors and they are working on finishing up the displays. It's going to be the cutest baby and kids boutique! I can’t wait!!
We will be having a grand opening celebration this weekend, August 16th to 18th. We will kick off the celebration on Friday the 16th. Our doors will be open at 11am and we'll have a few vendors pop up at the shop! There will be in store giveaways, raffles, and more!

The SLC store location is perfect. If you haven’t been to Atascadero yet, it is in the heart of San Luis Obispo County, near Paso Robles. We’ve done pop ups all over the county and can’t wait to have a place of our own! The location used to be a wine tasting room and as soon as Katie saw the “For Rent” sign she called me right away. Actually, in true sister fashion, she submitted an application and then called me. I really wanted to open a Shop Little Cousins location in the Roseville, Rocklin or Granite Bay area first but am so excited for our flagship store. Being downtown will be great as we have amazing businesses nearby and can’t wait to be a part of all the fun! Our street alone has JUICEBOSS, JonnyBoy’s Bagelry, and Marin's Vineyard Wine Tasting Room which should be opening up any day now! Our fav secondhand shop, Ernest Grace, is also steps away. AMSTRDM Coffee House is expanding outside of Paso and opening up right around the corner. Another coffee favorite is Malibu Brew, which is just on the other side of the sunken gardens. I can talk about food, coffee and wine tasting all day so I will get back to SLC news!
We are getting tons of fall and winter clothes in which is so exciting as it has been a very hot summer. It’s still over 100 degrees here in the Sacramento area so just seeing the fall dresses and sweaters has me very excited to be wrapped up in a blanket, rotting away on the couch watching football or Hallmark movies! We’ve even received a few Christmas items which would be perfect for a winter baby shower present. We have lots of new wooden toys which would be perfect stocking stuffers or holiday gifts! We also received our first few shipments from Mayoral and are so excited to carry this brand! I’ve made a collection where you can shop all of our Mayoral items here. We will also be carrying this line in our Atascadero store.

Downtown Atascadero is also hosting Cruisin’ Weekend including Hot El Camino Cruise Nite so there should be lots of activities for the entire family to enjoy!
